Blackboard Awards 2008 Excellence
in Education| Hunter College High School received a Blackboard Award for "Outstanding Public High School" in recognition of its exceptional educational programs. Principal Eileen Coppola accepted the award at an event, hosted by author Frank McCourt, held at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College on Thursday, October 16. The Blackboard Awards are an annual feature in Manhattan Media's Our Town and West Side Spirit community newspapers, honoring the city's top public, private and religious schools. An advisory board, comprised of various education experts and insiders, gathers in the spring to select the schools that are honored each fall. Congratulations Hunter! >>see news article |
