Why You Should Contribute to the Annual Fund
Every student at Hunter benefits from the money raised by the Annual Fund. Your donations support clubs, sports teams, teacher development, art, music, drama, student publications, upgrades to facilities and more.
While the recommended contribution is $1,400 per student, the success of the Annual Fund campaign depends on generous donations that range from $25 to $10,000.
The Annual Fund is the PTA’s single largest source of funding, providing more than 75 percent of the PTA’s budget. Our goal for 2016-2017 is $656,000 and for 100 percent of Hunter families to participate.
The HCHS PTA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Annual Fund donations can be made any time throughout the school year.
You may be able to double your gift if you work for a company with a matching gift program. (Please be advised that some companies may not match gifts to high schools or PTA’s, but will match gifts to colleges. If this applies to your company’s program, you can still get the match by donating through the Hunter College Foundation.) Please write to email@example.com for more information.
