Parent Grade Night (no potluck)
Administrators, Term Council and Yearbook staff inform parents about the year's important happenings. 

Homecoming
College freshmen return to Hunter in December to share stories and answer questions for current seniors over pizza lunch served by senior parents.

Senior Walkout
School-sanctioned senior celebration day. Senior parents provide refreshments. 

Senior BBQ
The seniors serve a barbecue lunch to their teachers in June; arranged by the Grade 12 Term Council and held outdoors in good weather. 

Senior Prom
This formal event for seniors, organized by the Grade 12 Term Council, is held off-campus in June. Contact: Grade 12 Term Advisor. 

Senior Breakfast
A breakfast at school for the graduating class is set up and served by Senior parents on the morning after prom. Contact: Grade 11-12 Exec PTA Rep.

Senior Tea
The faculty honors graduating students (without parents) with a reception at 3:15 pm on the last day of classes, prior to the Honors and Awards Ceremony. Contact:  Grade 12 Term Advisor.

Senior Honors and Awards
School-wide and departmental honors are awarded to graduating seniors on the last day of classes. Parents of recipients are invited and encouraged to attend this ceremony held in the Auditorium. The list of Honors and Awards can be found starting on page 70 of The Umbrella. 

Commencement and Graduation Reception
Congratulations and best of luck to our seniors and their families! Commencement is held each June at Hunter College. Grade 11 parents organize and host a Graduation Reception immediately following for graduates, families and teachers. Commencement Contact: Assistant Principal Lisa Siegmann. Senior Class Gift
Each year, the senior families collect donations and purchase something for the school that will enhance the quality of life at Hunter. Past years' gifts include benches for the Courtyard and furniture for the Student Lounge outside the Auditorium. The item is decided by the Grade 12 Term Council, with input from all seniors.
