Whether your child puts in the minimum 75 hours towards their community service requirement, or 700 hours, as have some Hunter students, it is important that they make informed choices about service opportunities. We will hear from HCHS students about their personal experiences, followed by Giovanna Termini, coordinator in the HCHS Office of External Programs, who will describe this valuable volunteering program and how students can get the most out of it. Ms. Termini will also give a sneak preview of other opportunities their department offers to HCHS seniors to broaden their horizons, such as the Hunter Scholars Program, internships and teacher assistant positions.
