Middle School Sports are Starting Up!

Most fall varsity sports have already started and are actively practicing for upcoming matches and meets.  However, if your child is in Grades 6-8, middle school sports are just beginning.  Meetings and tryouts begin this week.  Students interested in a fall sport should show up at that team's interest meeting and/or come ready to play at the team tryout.

Click below for more information, including tryout days and times.

Don't forget to send in the medical and parental consent forms with your child, which can be found here.

** Check out the Welcome to Hunter Sports: Middle School Edition, online on the Hunter Athletics website; please click here.  The MS Edition provides general and detailed information on MS athletics and all the MS sports teams including tryouts, cuts, location and frequency of practice and games, transportation, and other relevant facts.  It provides another resource for all the information you and your child need to know to be involved.

Finally, all parents are welcome to attend the sports presentation by Athletic Director Neil Potter at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, September 27th in the Hunter auditorium, before the general PTA meeting at 7:00 pm.  There will be an orientation to the Hunter Athletic program in addition to a Q&A session.

We are looking forward to a great year -- come out and support Hunter Sports!
